What Tide 4 Christ Means to Me
College is hard. It’s even harder when you aren’t grounded in your faith or you don’t have a good support system. It is so important to be involved in something that is bigger than yourself–something that gives your life even more meaning and provides you with a group of friends with the same values. With that being said, I just want to say how thankful I am for my college church group. It is so encouraging that at this big, very worldly school there are college kids who want to take the road less travelled and just do what is right in God’s eyes. Not only do they want to do the right thing, they want to hang out with kids who want to do what is right, too.
Tide 4 Christ is just that, a group of kids trying to live a holy life and encourage others to do the same. This group isn’t just a group of college kids who all just simply go to church together, it is something so much bigger than that. Being a part of something bigger than yourself is so rewarding and adds value to your life. I pray that everyone can find something like this group that will give them a sense that they are a part of something bigger than themselves. I have found that for myself in Tide 4 Christ, and I can see God working through this group and God working through me as a part of this group.
I couldn’t be more excited to see what God has in store for Tide 4 Christ in the coming year!
