It is the end of the 2017-2018 school year here at Tide 4 Christ. We’ve had a great time with all our fellowship opportunities, events, and our time of spiritual growth. The one thing that the ministry wants to direct all our friends and families to are the individuals pictured below. What if I told you all these individuals have ministry roles at churches either in Alabama, Maryland, South Carolina, or Tennessee? What if I told you that none of these young men are majoring in Biblical Studies? These are students who attend the University of Alabama (or have attended UA or Shelton State Community College) and are in the ministry field. Does that sound strange or foreign to you? It probably does. But it shouldn’t. Although they may be attending a public university and are surrounded by things that are not Christlike at times, they have chosen a path of working in His kingdom. Teaching Bible class, preaching morning and evening, leading singing, organizing youth events, etc. It is our goal here at the Central Church of Christ and the Tide for Christ Student Ministry to encourage our students of a life focused on God. Don’t be surprised that there are Christian men who are living a Christian life at a non-Christian school. We aren’t.
