We focus on the things that we can’t do and get scared of what’s out there in the world. This fear is strictly a human characteristic, and it isn’t one we came from the factory with: “For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline” (2 Timothy 1:7). We let those limits extend into our relationship with God. We tell ourselves that God can’t do what we ask of Him. But who are we to put limits on God Almighty, who created an entire universe in just seven days? Despite what we think is possible for Him, there’s only one thing that God can’t do, and that’s lie. Keeping in mind that God cannot lie to us, read Ephesians 3:20.

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

God is going to do more in our lives than we can ask or even imagine. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. Jesus overcame the world, and we will too. The rest of the world needs to see the boldness and confidence that comes from having God on our side. If we don’t remember that more is possible with God in our lives, we’re shrinking. We’re disappearing. We aren’t serving God’s purpose for His people in a dark world.

More is always possible. As a matter of fact, ANYTHING is possible with God! (Matthew 19:26). God wants you to make the most out of this life; that’s why He gave it to us. Just think about this: If God wanted us to simply exist, would He have given us the ability to see colors? To taste food? To love, and to be loved? If our purpose was to just take up space, our lives could be much more simple than they are.

If we don’t live our lives to the fullest, we are missing out on one of God’s greatest gifts to us. As a matter of fact, we do Him a disservice by not fully embracing the gift of life that He gave us. We need to stop looking at what we can’t do because we are Christians and look at how much we can do with God.

So, let me ask you again.
