Tristan Rittenhouse is from Cleveland, AL and majoring in exercise science. He is one of the Vice Presidents for 2019-2020.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hey there, my name is Tristan Rittenhouse, and I am currently a senior at The University of Alabama studying Exercise Science, and I am also the Vice President of Tide 4 Christ student ministry. Throughout my four years at UA I have been very active in Tide 4 Christ and I have found that I have made a lot of good friends, but I have also learned a whole lot more than I expected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is apparently a stigma around public universities that you are less likely to stay faithful in your religion than if you were to go to a private Christian school. However, I don\u2019t feel like that is the case really. We have a really good opportunity at UA to reach people that may have grown up never going to church in their lives. I feel like in my four years in Tide 4 Christ I have learned more about the Bible than I had in my entire life. That is something that I am most thankful for, but also the relationships that I have built with good Christian people. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have found that I really like to listen to what students in Tide 4 Christ have to say about the Bible because I didn\u2019t really grow up in the Church of Christ, so I feel like my knowledge of the Bible is less than most of the people within Tide 4 Christ who have grown up in the Church. I am beyond thankful for all of the things that Tide 4 Christ and Central Church of Christ have taught me in the past four years of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.<\/em>
